TEDxAthens has never belonged to anyone. That is the whole point of it, and it is also the reason it is expensive to make. A stage that answers to no advertiser has to be paid for by people who want it to exist.
The Patron Society is that circle: sixty members who fund the return of the event in 2027 and, in return, sit closer to it than anyone else — individuals, and companies backing an individual seat. Not a sponsorship, not a ticket tier. A standing invitation into the room where the programme is made.
Athens has underwritten its own stages for rather a long time. We are asking you to do it once more.

The Society replaces the old Patron ticket as an annual membership rather than a single-event purchase. Single-event ticket options for 2027 will be announced with general sale.
Yes. Every tier includes reserved main-stage seating for the 2027 event, and Front Row carries an extra front-row ticket for the day; Backstage and The Box also include Discovery Day. The priority window applies to any additional tickets you want beyond your own seats.
Front Row includes an extra front-row ticket for the main event day. Backstage brings a plus-one to the patrons’ dinner. The Box seats a member and two guests, and carries three General tickets a year to gift.
Neither. Patronage is a personal membership, invoiced annually, and carries no commercial rights. Corporate partnerships are a separate conversation and live on the Partnerships pages.
By application and a short conversation. We keep the circle small deliberately, and the caps on each tier are real rather than decorative.
Yes. The Society is open to individuals and to companies, and a member is welcome to have the annual fee invoiced to a company entity of their own. The seat, the guest allowance and the recognition stay in the member’s name either way. If what you want is brand visibility rather than a seat, the partnership formats are the better route.
Annual, payable on acceptance, by invoice or card. Membership is renewable, and members hold first right of refusal on their seat each year.
